The concept of the shows are mostly based on rural life or on small towns or villages where the people and their living is very simple, no high class stricture or drama.

It clear that the main purpose with Star Plus has introduced the shows is to capture the rural audience, who are going to relate with the characters.

Star Plus Brings 4 new shows for Star Dopahar

Star Plus the number one GEC channel in Hindi, has telecasted 4 brand new shows with new concepts. The main idea is to increase the viewership in the afternoon timings. Previously it used to air the repeat of all the night shows. But with the new shows it's planning to expand it's reach and bring the nayi soch in the viewers.

All the four shows aired on 3rd April. The names are: Dhai Kilo Prem, Ek Aastha Aisi Bhi, Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji and Kya Kassor Hai Amaala Ka.

All the four shows have new faces and new concepts.

Dhai Kilo Prem: By the promo you can figure out that the concept is about oversized persons. But the difference is that here they have choose both the lead actors who are oversized and looks jolly. The love story will be different with some comical additions in it.

Ek Aastha Aisi Bhi: Aastha a abandoned child who is orphan and raised by the temple functionaries is cute bubbly and lively girl, who is taking out money from the temple fund for her expenditure. Well isn't the idea different what we have always seen in movies or sanskaari serials.

Tu Sooraj Main saanjh Piyaji: The show is the sequel of the popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum. Kanan the daughter of Sooraj and Sandhya (died in the first show) can make sweets like his father but still she is hated by her grand mother , will she ever get her love?



Kya Kassor Hai Amaala Ka: The show focuses on women abuse, how she was discriminated and assaulted by the society.

Ishqbaaz : The Current Number one Star Plus Show

Recently launched show Ishqbaaz is getting popular day by day and mostly liked by all generation persons. The main reason behind is the story and star cast of the serial. The story revolves around 3 brothers who are like pillars to each others though they  are completely different persons. Their love lifes with three beautiful ladies creates each unique story.

The elder brother Shivaay is been loggerheads with the poor girl Anika who is striving to work hard for her little brother but destiny keeps her always in front of the arrogant and stone hearted shivaay. They are getting close but seems to be unaffected by the closeness shivaay agrees to marry his fiancee Tia. The current track show there are some back to back attacks on their family, and tia is behaving strangely and with some unknown person.

Still it's unclear that who is the person, and what is the motive of Tia behind marrying Shivaay. Next to it is Omkara who can't forget ishana but still friends with Riddhima. Ishana the con girl tries it harder to get closer to Omkara due to riddhima. Will she be able to sideline  the road block and make omkara fall for her.

BARC Ratings this Weeek: Star Plus regained the No.1 spot

On the 41th week the reports have given surprises to everyone as the results are completely opposite to the last week report. Some unexpected channels TRPs are giving the GEC channels a run for their money. For example Zee Anmol, Star Utsav, Channel V and MTV. This week the top viewership spot was taken by Star Plus with 735 million views on week 42, followed by Zee Anmol with an average of 652 million. Colors tv took the third spot.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: Rinki's Murder Mystery Grips Viewers; Raman, Ishita Suspect Mihir!

The serial has lost its track to plan for the leap of 10 years. It is planned that popular daily soap ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ will take a 10 year huge leap in October, post Rinki's murder. The mot specific reason is the show kid actors. The kids Aditya (Gautam Ahuja) and Ruhi (Ruhanika Dhawan) will bid adieu to the TV show as their character will grow up and the plot will turn more dramatic.
 

With Rinki's body found dead, everyone eye the person she was having the affair with as a prime suspect and later they figure out he is innocent. Then the mystery continues, all eyes fall on Mihir. After informing Ishita about the blackmailing, Rinki goes missing. The police suspect something wrong and found her dead body with a fatal gunshot wound. Primary investigation shows the guy, Rinki's boyfriend who blackmailed her, is not related with it.

Meanwhile Ishita finds out Mihir arrived in Delhi a couple of days before prior the date he informed everyone. Even though she suspects his involvement in Rinki's death, Ishita decides to stay silent for the time being. But, how our angry hero will be mum.

Raman thinks different about the same. He confronts Mihir the moment as he gets to know he was in Delhi for the past two days using a different identity. 

We got some latest spoilers of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein which reveals, Mihir has nothing to do with Rinki's murder though he knew about her extramarital affair. Eventually on the show, they figure out that Rinki's death was a freak accident and had nothing to do with Mihir.
